Development of physical and mentalabilities of children and youth in themunicipality of KružlováRozvoj telesných a duševných schopností detí a mládeže v obci Kružlová

A brief description of the project in English

The project submitted in the offer focuses on the physical and mental development of the children and youth in the municipality of Kružlová and partnering villages.

Considering the situation of the Roma children in Slovakia, the municipality of Kružlová strives to support their employment within the society and to improve their status.

By creating a multifunctional center for the development of physical and mental abilities of the children and youth, the objective of the support will be fulfilled.

NBased on these facts, we plan to organize following activities within the project:

1. Building of sports facilities for the development of physical and mental abilities of the children and youth in the municipality of Kružlová

2. Education courses on the employment support

3. Series of lectures linked with the historical interpretation of the hate speech, radicalization, and non-discrimination

4. Cultural and art education for the support of the return to Roma roots

5. Dissemination and promotion

The target group of this project are the children and youth from the Kružlová village and its surroundings. In this group, the project focuses on the social inclusion of excluded groups – the Roma children and the children from socially disadvantaged environment or the children endangered by the poverty.

The project partnership will be created with the villages of Rovné and Havranec, which in the cooperation with the central village of Kružlová, and by means of activities implementation and participation on the preparation and the implementation of the project itself, will develop a multifunctional center for the extracurricular activities for the children and youth.

Participating civic associations will demonstrate negative consequences of the radicalization, discrimination and bullying of the children by means of the lectures and history. These activities will be linked with creating a virtual reality with presenting the fights in the Death Valley.

New work positions will be created within this project.

The local Roma civic order services and the employees of the community center Kružlová, as well as the field social workers in the villages of Rovné and Havranec will participate on the implementation of the activities.

The project will also create a cooperation with the donor partner from Norway.
